Zubin Nijhawan, Madesh Krishna lead in round one of Pre Qualifying I

Panchkula’s Zubin Nijhawan and Kochi’s Madesh Krishna shot scores of two-under-70 to lead in round one of the PGTI’s Pre Qualifying I for the 2020 season being held at the Kensville Golf & Country Club near Ahmedabad.

 

Nijhawan produced four birdies and two bogeys while Krishna came up with five birdies and three bogeys.

 

Mumbai-based Akash Modi occupied third place at one-under-71.

 

Noida’s Manpreet Mann and Mhow-based Sumeet Choudhary were in tied fourth with scores of 72.

 

Out of a total field of 98, the top 26 players (+ ties) will qualify from Pre Qualifying I, a 36-hole event, for the Final Qualifying Stage. There are three Pre Qualifying events in total.
