Karandeep Kochhar secures tied 10th at Yeangder TPC; Rahil Gangjee claims tied 10th at Fujisankei Classic

India's Karandeep Kochhar came up with a final round of two-under-70 to secure tied 10th place at the Asian Tour's Yeangder TPC.

Kochhar, who totaled 11-under-277 for the week, thus posted his second top-10 on the Asian Tour and first in almost two years. He has only had one better finish on the Asian Tour which was tied second place at the Panasonic Open India 2017.

Karandeep finished 10 shots behind champion Yikeun Chang of Korea.

Shiv Kapur was the next best Indian in tied 17th at nine-under-279.

Elsewhere, India's Rahil Gangjee claimed tied 10th place at the Japan Golf Tour's Fujisankei Classic. It was Gangjee's first top-10 in 13 months since he won the Asian Development Tour's Louis Philippe Cup in India in 2018.

Rahil made a commendable comeback with three successive scores of three-under-68 in rounds 2, 3 and 4, after having begun the week with an opening round of four-over-75.

Gangjee closed the week with a total of five-under-279 to finish 10 shots behind champion Sang-Hyun Park of Korea.
