Shubhankar Sharma and Anirban Lahiri miss the cut at PGA Championship
The Indian challenge at the PGA Championship came to an end as both Shubhankar Sharma (69-74) and Anirban Lahiri (70-73) amassed matching totals of three-over-143 to miss the cut by three shots.
Shubhankar's second round was looking promising when he was one-under through seven holes for a total of two-under before play was suspended due to bad weather on Friday.
However, when Sharma resumed his second round on Saturday, he had a forgettable back-nine, as he traded four bogeys and a double-bogey for a single birdie. He had to settle for a 74 and thus missed the cut which was applied at even-par-140.
Lahiri had earlier missed the cut on Friday following his second round of 73.
