Lahiri slips to tied 16th at WGC - Bridgestone Invitational, Bhullar moves up to tied fifth at Fiji International
India’s Anirban Lahiri slipped nine places to a share of 16th place after returning with an even-par-70 in the second round of the World Golf Championships - Bridgestone Invitational on Friday.
The 2015 Asian Tour Order of Merit champion mixed his card with three bogeys and three birdies for a two-day total of five-under-par 135 at Firestone Country Club.
Shubhankar Sharma, the current Asian Tour Order of Merit leader and the only other Indian in the elite field this week, posted a 79 to be placed 71st.
Elsewhere at the European Tour and Asian Tour co-sanctioned Fiji International, India's Gaganjeet Bhullar fired a second round of three-under-69 to move up three spots into tied fifth at five-under-139, he was six off the pace.
Ajeetesh Sandhu was the only other Indian to make the halfway cut. He was placed tied 51st at three-over-147.
