PGTI Feeder Tour event at The Palms - Lucknow from July 10
- Prize Purse of Rs. 8 lakh
- Local lad Vijay Kumar, Feeder Tour Order of Merit leader Pawan Verma, Ashbeer Saini, Dhruv Sheoran, among the top names in the field
The Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) will stage the sixth and last event of its 2018 Feeder Tour season at the Palms Golf Club & Resort, Sushant Golf City, Ansal API in Lucknow from July 10 - 12, 2018. The tournament carries a prize purse of Rs. 8 lakhs.
The tournament which returns to The Palms – Lucknow, after four years will have a field of 82 players. The event will be played over three rounds of 18 holes each with the cut being applied after 36 holes. The top 36 players and ties will make the cut after two rounds.
Former Indian Open champion Vijay Kumar will lead the local challenge along with the other top professionals from Lucknow such as Manoj Kumar, Rajesh Kumar Rawat, Amardeep Rawat, Sheeraz Kalra, Ashish Kumar Gupta and Rishi Kumar.
Delhi’s Pawan Verma, Kapurthala’s Ashbeer Saini and Gurugram-based Dhruv Sheoran, currently placed first, second and third on the Feeder Tour Order of Merit respectively, will be among the top contenders at the event.
The 2018 PGTI Feeder Tour Order of Merit champion will get an exemption to play on the PGTI in 2019.
