Shubhankar Sharma misses the cut at US Open after his second round 76

Shubhankar Sharma of India missed the cut at the US Open by two shots after he fired a six-over-76 in round two on Friday.

Sharma, who had earlier carded a four-over-74 in round one, thus totalled 10-over-150 for 36 holes at the Shinnecock Hills Golf Club.

Shubhankar, making only his second Major appearance, sank a lone birdie at the cost of five bogeys and a double-bogey in round two.
