Chikkarangappa claims tied 13th at Thailand Open

Chikkarangappa S of India posted a one-under-69 in round four of the Asian Tour's Thailand Open to finish tied 13th with a tournament tally of six-under-274.

Thailand’s Panuphol Pittayarat won the event with a total score of 13-under-267 at the Thai Country Club.

Chikka (65-70-70-69), who shared second place after round one thanks to his opening 65, managed five birdies, two bogeys and a double bogey on the final day during his round of 69.

The 24-year-old Chikka thus climbed five spots from his overnight tied 18th.

Rahil Gangjee claimed tied 18th place at four-under-276.

Among the other Indians to make the cut, Rashid Khan finished tied 38th (even-par-280), Chiragh Kumar was tied 47th (one-over-281), Gaganjeet Bhullar secured tied 55th (two-over-282) and Viraj Madappa was 70th (seven-over-287).
