Anirban Lahiri moves into tied 20th in Round 2 of AT&T Byron Nelson; Honey Baisoya placed tied 26th after Round 3 of Asia-Pacific Classic
Anirban Lahiri followed up his first round three-under-68 with a four-under-67 in round two to move into tied 20th place at the PGA Tour's AT&T Byron Nelson in Dallas, Texas.
Lahiri struck five birdies against a lone bogey in the second round to climb 24 spots from his overnight tied 44th. The Indian star has a two-day total of seven-under-135. He trails the leader, Mark Leishman of Australia, by eight strokes.
Elsewhere, at the Asian Tour's Asia-Pacific Classic being held in Henan, China, India's Honey Baisoya, who was tied second after his opening round effort of five-under-67, slipped to tied 26th after round three having shot subsequent scores of 73 and 72.
Baisoya's 54-hole total stood at four-under-212. The lead was held by American John Catlin at 13-under-203.
Chikkarangappa, the other Indian to make the cut, was placed tied 50th at even-par-216.
