Jyoti Randhawa cards exceptional 64 in Manila, rises to tied fourth in round two along with Arjun Atwal and SSP Chawrasia

Anirban Lahiri is tied 11th after first round of OHL Classic at Mayakoba

India's Jyoti Randhawa carded an exceptional bogey-free eight-under-64 to make one of the biggest moves in round two of the Asian Tour's Resorts World Manila Masters.

Randhawa (70-64) climbed 38 places to tied fourth thanks to his flawless effort at the US$1 million event on Friday. Jyoti, who had finished tied fourth at the same event last year, was two off the lead with a total of 10-under-134.

The two other Indians who joined Randhawa in tied fourth were Arjun Atwal (67-67) and defending champion SSP Chawrasia (66-68).

Atwal gained five spots from his overnight tied ninth as a result of a second consecuitve 67 while Chawrasia, who won his first overseas title at last year's edition, moved up one place after a solid 68 in round two.

The three-way lead was held by Thai golfers Arnond Vongvanij and Phachara Khongwatmai and Filipino Justin Quiban.

India's Gaganjeet Bhullar was tied 26th at six-under-138 while the trio of Ajeetesh Sandhu, the newly-crowned Panasonic Open India champion Shiv Kapur and Chiragh Kumar were a further shot back in tied 32nd place.

Khalin Joshi and Sujjan Singh were in tied 44th at four-under-140.

The other Indians who made the halfway cut of two-under-142 were, Himmat Rai (tied 51st at three-under-141) and Honey Baisoya (tied 64th at two-under-142).

At the PGA Tour's OHL Classic at Mayakoba, Anirban Lahiri shot a first round of four-under-67 to lie tied 11th, five shots behind the leader Patton Kizzire of the United States.
