Arjun Atwal tied eighth after Round 3 in Taiwan

Arjun Atwal climbed 11 places to tied eighth after his third round of two-under-70 at the Asian Tour's Mercuries Taiwan Masters. Atwal's three-day total stood at two-under-214 that placed him seven shots behind the leader Juvic Pagunsan of the Philippines.

Gaganjeet Bhullar was the other Indian in the top-10. He gained 30 places and moved into tied 10th at one-under-215 after his third round of 69.

Among the other Indians, Chikkarangappa was tied 21st (one-over-217), Shiv Kapur was tied 30th (three-over-219), Rashid Khan was tied 36th (four-over-220) and Khalin Joshi was tied 40th (five-over-221).
