Chiragh Kumar off to a brilliant start at in Chinese Taipei, lies tied third
Chiragh Kumar posted a four-under-68 in round one of the Yeangder Tournament Players Championship in Chinese Taipei to be placed tied third. He is currently two shots behind the leader Thitiphun Chuayprakong of Thailand.
Chiragh, a four-time winner on the PGTI, had three birdies and a bogey on the front-nine and closed the round with an eagle on the 18th.
Rahil Gangjee’s score of two-uner-70 placed him tied 10th while Anirban Lahiri was in tied 29th at even-par-72.
Defending champion Gaganjeet Bhullar lies in joint 46th place after a round of 73. Abhinav Lohan also fired a 73 to occupy tied 46th place.
Abhijit Singh Chadha returned a 74 to be tied 59th while Himmat Singh Rai and Ajeetesh Sandhu carded scores of 75 to be placed tied 71st.
