Ajeetesh Sandhu misses out on qualifying for the Japan Golf Tour

India's Ajeetesh Sandhu missed out on qualifying for the Japan Golf Tour after finishing 74th at the end of the sixth and final round of the Qualifying School’s Final Stage held at the Cocopa Resort Club near the city of Nagoya.

Ajeetesh shot scores of 69, 71, 69, 70, 73 and 75 to end up with a tournament total of five-under-427.

The 28-year-old Ajeetesh, who was placed tied 58th at eight-under-352 at the end of the fifth round, shot a three-over-75 on the final day to slip 16 places.

Sandhu missed out on the qualifying mark by seven strokes. The top 35 players out of a total of 97 earned their cards at the end of the sixth and final round.
