Japan’s Kazuki Higa continued to be the top favourite to lift the trophy at the US$ 60,000 bti Open as he produced a three-under-69 at the Kurmitola Golf Club in Dhaka on Thursday to maintain his lead for the third day in succession.
Higa, the wire-to-wire leader since round one, totaled 15-under-201 at the end of round three to stay ahead of the rest by three shots.
Bangladesh’s Md Zamal Hossain Mollah (68), playing at his home course, fired a third successive 68 to emerge as the strongest challenger to Higa at 12-under-204 at the event tri-sanctioned by the Asian Development Tour (ADT), Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) and Bangladesh Professional Golfers Association (BPGA)

Japan’s Kazuki Higa continued his domination at the US$ 60,000 bti Open with a second round of two-under-70 that moved his total to 12-under-132. Higa, who led the field by five strokes after day one, now leads by four shots at the halfway stage of the event being played at the Kurmitola Golf Club in Dhaka.

The Sixth bti OPEN 2018, an International Golf Tournament, will be held at the pristine Kurmitola Golf Club (KGC), from 24 - 27 April, 2018 and will carry a prize purse of BDT 50.00 lac.
